VIPER respects and upholds your rights under the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Privacy Act"). The National Privacy Principles apply to us from their introduction in late 2001.

What personal information about you does VIPER hold?
VIPER may hold the following information about you:

  • machine details;
  • license and ambulance details;
  • any information you may provide to us through the web site or specific forms.

What does VIPER do with your personal information?
We use your personal information for the purposes of -

  • fulfilling our ongoing obligations to MA for the purpose of race licenses etc.
  • responding to any inquiries or comments that you submit to us.

Who will VIPER disclose your personal information to?
VIPER may disclose your personal information on a confidential basis to:

  • Motorcycling Australia
  • Its affiliates.

VIPER will take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you by contacting the VIPER Chairman by using the e-mail contact on the home page of this web site.
If at any time you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, then you may request amendment of it, and VIPER will either amend the information or make a record of your comment.

VIPER Website
In general you can visit the VIPER website without telling us who you are. The amount of information that you provide to VIPER will depend on the forms that you choose to use.

We do not currently use cookies on our website to collect personal information about you.

By using the VIPER website you agree that the internet is inherently insecure and that accordingly we can only use our best endeavours to secure your personal information and cannot provide any definitive assurance regarding security of personal information. Other than liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, VIPER will not be liable in any way in relation to any breach of security or any unintended loss or disclosure of that information.
